Dear Dr Barbara,

you are welcome to start a paperless homework class through your virtual school. It is better because the resultant module sizes are very small to allow more effective distance learning. Dont try the CD or online flash approach. Both have limitations especially for the end users.

Regards
Alan

Try downloading the AGE tools and sample contents from our web site and mentioning you are from telecenter.org, we would provide you with a full set of AGE tools and contents for free for an entire year.

You can even start to volunteer to create your own contents to be shared by others using our AGE tools which also supports famous tools like Hot Potatoes , Frontpage etc.

It can be of any language so long as the language is unicode supported

Do join us and perhaps get your colleagues to participate as a group as well. We can assist you to get the modules done if unsure.

Regards
Alan

Alan and Ahmed,

Oh, this is soooooooooo exciting. I have reviewed the Web sites that you included in your messages. Please tell me more. As an online instructor and creater of a virtual school, I am so interested in learning more details.

Who teaches the classes? Who creates the content? Are there jobs available? Do you need a director? Is there a way that I could log in to a class?

Please, please, please tell me more.

Dear Ahmed,

It certainly is a pleasure to read about your work from the links you provided. We certainly wish to work closely with you to help to close the digital divides using "out of the box" methods away from the traditional approach.

Yes, we certainly can enhance on your activities in your telecenters and perhaps provide better sustainabilities to all who participate. We shall provide you with details privately for those who register for free AGE.

Yes, we have received your particulars and you have downloaded our AGE.

We shall help you step by step on how to enhance your telecenters with both our contents and contents created easily in your own native language (if desired). We are now extending this to all schools, telecenters, Kindergartens etc. It's is like having access to ICT expertise and assistance in ICT in mass Education without spending a dime. :>)

So you are free to let other telecenters to have it too. Freely copy the AGE software that you have downloaded to other telecenters. It is all free for an entire year.

In the course of this year, we are creating more contents on top of those we already have , and you can have it free too.

Telecenters registering for free , please mention " member of Telecenter.org " at the comment area of our download page so we know from where you come from. We shall provide better attention to you if you are a member of telecenter.org

Cheers
Alan

Hello to all in e learning...

Many of us developed elearning modules but used only locally for their own use.

To us, this is lost opportunity to others to access to the contents.

Is there anyone having their own modules wishing to share their work with the rest of the world?

We are globalising our initiative of global elearning by creating modules that are easily downloaded to any remote and urban area. We create modules and allow schools, telecenters etc to create their own with our own tools. These can be accessed by anyone on earth with slow dialups without the need for broadband( which would be too expensive and would not allow the poor to have access anyway).

We can help anyone wishing to do that for their own country or for the world. Why reinvent the wheel as the old saying goes.

In fact this initiative will make telecenters get lots and lots of new contents from all over the world and would make telecenters more sustainable by attacting students to access such contents in the telecenters.

Our system supports unicode and hence any language. We can also help any telecenter with their own contents to convert to modules too (for free for a limited numbers of course)

"Think out of the box"

cheers

Yapa,

How did you introduce e learning? What school do you use? What courses are your students taking? I am very interested. I was the principal/director of an e learning high school/early college.

Please, please let me know more.
