Why Wikipedia? In the past, we had a custom wiki, but we decided to put our resources into contributing to because we believe in creating open, multilingual, sustainable resources. Wikipedia is also a familiar platform that many community members already use. telecentre.org can play a valuable role by consolidating knowledge from practitioners around the world — rather than duplicating efforts.
