i run an online virtual high school that also offers career-technical courses and the first two years of general education requirements for college. I can help telecentres provide online education for users. I'd also like to develop telecentres in places such as Zimbabwe and Haiti where people want to use our courses but don't have internet access in their homes. Diana Muir dianamuir@plc.edu

Dr. Syed Md. Zainul Abedin,

I am currently working on a program for gender gaps in education for females and trying to establish scholarships for the online education classes and mentoring program for underserved girls in global communities. From my research, it is evident that the need is critical.
I just discovered Telecentre, and I am so excited to be part of the international community. Please. please, please help me to learn about Telecentre and what I can do to be an effective contributor. Barbara Fedock

Dear Dr. Syed,
Thanks for your welcome. My main interest is to learn the philosophy behind telecentres. In Radboud University we have a community outreach course focusing on developing countries. So our students are involved in telecentre projects to add their support. we want them to be prepared before they do their field work as part of this academic course.
Kind regards, Theo

Thank you Xainul for your kind remard. Well.. to me everyone is a master piece of creator by default. What lacks along the way is our act or personality. But not to worry cos I believe that each one of us can journey together to create a better world. That's what we hope our e-Desa would do in a community. The fundamental is people. When good people works together for a good cause, only good thing will happen. :)
