Start up a community owned Telecentre at Bangladesg, Bagherhat

This was really a nice opportunity to visits a remote area of my country for establishing telecentre. I was representing BTN to facilitate to identify the needs of information. Telecentre sounds new and even internet..............

Bangladesh Government initiated to establish telecentres at government postal officers.

The participants are delighted to knows about the facilities/applications. They can only read the daily national newspapers at 11:30 AM.................. and after that. Some of them are delighted to have it at early morning..........

About 500 perticipants at the District Level consultation on Telecentre

Bangladesh Telecentre Network and its member Community Development Association (CDA) Jointly launched the BTN Resource Centre, Dinajpur on June 20, 2009. The member of Parliament Inaugurate and made commitments to establish telecentres at local government establishments. About 500 villagers were present at the consultation. Bangladesh Government committed to establish Digital Bangladesh Vision 202, which make a path by Vision 2011 of BTN to ensure information and knowledge system for all.… Continue
