About Me (biography and organization description)
I am a graduate student of ePolicy and eGovernment.
As the internet spreads everywhere, there is a need for government service delivery to be ubiquitous also. e-ICT enabled service delivery creates efficiency and can enable e-participation in governance. Am interested in telecentres and other community ICT access centers as potential channels for e-government. Their impact in developing an information society is of paramount interest.
e-governance provides huge benefits to communities worldwide. Of the many benefits, it promotes transparency and streamlines bureaucracy - a very desirable outcome as any who have been subject to red tape knows. I am personally more interested in education and capacity development via the internet.
Good you already like the forums and blogs, please feel free to participate in on going discussions, join groups according to your interests and to also blog stories.
