About Me (biography and organization description)

I have a B.A in History and Political Science from Dijon University, France (2001-2003). I completed achieving a Master in International Relations from Laval University where I studied Global Politics related to Peace and Conflit, International Economy, Economic Law, and Foreign Policy.

I also worked as a research assistant on Global Environmental Governance for the Canadian Research Chair in Environmental Law , (2004-2005).

I was involved in ICT4D (Information and Communication Technologies for Development), and worked on a fantastic projet, Telecentre.org, an IDRC program which goal is to help bridging the gaps of the digital divide in developing countries (especially Francophone Africa).

Now I am working at Innovest on Corporate Social Responsibility. I basically screen company over norms and standards of the UN Global Compact .

I will also work as a part time employee of TakingITGlobal, working on "Understanding the Issues".

I do believe that empowerment of young people, development of their leadership skills, and participation in decision making can make the difference!

J'ai une licence en Histoire et Science politiques de l'Université de Dijon (Bourgogne) en France (2001-2003). Je viens de terminer un Mastère en relations internationales à l'Université Laval, dans la ville de Québec au Canada. J'ai étudié la politique mondiale, et notamment les questions de Paix et de Sécurité,L'économie internationale,le droit économique, et la politique étrangère.

J'ai pu travailler comme assistant de recherche pour la Chaire canadienne en droit de l'environnement de l'Université Laval, (2004-2005)

Je suis maintenant impliqué dans une autre dimension des relations internationales : les Technologies de l'information et de communication (TIC) pour le développement (en anglais ICT4D) . C'est passionnant et j'en apprends tous les jours. Je m'intéresse à la gouvernance des TIC et travaille pour un projet fantastique : Telecentre.org
du CRDI dont le but est de soutenir la réduction de la fracture du numérique dans les pays en développement (notamment l'Afrique francophone).

Je suis intimement persuadé que l'autonomisation des jeunes et le développement de leur compétence en matière de leadership,leur participation à la prise de décision peuvent vraiment changer le cours des choses!
