Hi,
This is Savu from Fiji, we are in the process introducing the concept of Telecentre to 3 pilot communities in Suva, Fiji Islands at the moment. One community without power supply and other 2 communities without power supplies. Now, this is a mobile Telecentre with 2 laptops with internet connections and a printer. I am currently use wireless to connect to the internet.

Do you have resources available in terms of linking Telecentre to community issues and development?

It facilitates telecentres to increase their capacity by sharing knowledge and e-discussions to create an impact to the grassroots development. The organization is also involved building capacities of telecentre practitioners in management and technical aspects and carries out lobby and advocacy roles.

UgaBYTES has become the most influential telecentre support network in the region using online and offline support services.
